Features of 2.54mm Pin Header

Top side uses gold plated dual row surface mount vertical female header. Bottom side uses two gold plated single row surface mount vertical male headers. This adapter comes pre-assembled with top and bottom headers installed. Hole size: 1.0mm (40 mils) diameter. Holes accept 25 mil square wire wrap posts.

A: High temperature 2.54mm (. 1") pitch connectors withstands high temperature solder processes up to 280°C (IR Reflow) with LCP or Nylon 6T insulators. Operating temperature is -40°C to + 105°C with a current rating of 3 amps.

Q: What is the maximum current per pin?

A: "Each pin should not provide or receive a current above a maximum of 40 mA. Point is that the output is not a steady 5V when you start drawing current out of it. If you draw 20mA the the voltage you get out is within the limits given in the processor's data sheet. As you draw more the voltage drops below these limits.
