What Current Can The Pin Header Handle?

The maximum current it can handle is 3A. If you need to handle around 10A, you should switch to a 5.08 or 3.96 pitch pin header. These pins are thicker, at 1.14mm. The 2.54 pitch pin header has a diameter of only 0.64mm.
