- Key Characteristics: Flame retardant rating UL94 V-0; heat distortion temperature must be able to withstand brief wave soldering or reflow soldering at 260°C without blistering or deformation. High-temperature nylons such as PA6T/PA9T perform better than ordinary PBT.

- DIP Pins: Square or cylindrical pins, robust and durable, suitable for manual or automated wave soldering, providing high bonding strength to the PCB after soldering, and excellent vibration and tensile strength.
- Plastic Height and Positioning: Standard products have a fixed plastic height (e.g., 8.5mm), with the Y-shaped opening facing upwards for easy pin header insertion. Some products have positioning posts on the bottom to assist installation and prevent misalignment.
